You will find both low-cost models as well as a “premium” lineup. The low-cost model won’t wow you with features, build quality, or long ice life but instead tries to find a happy medium while still being extremely cost-effective. The premium lineup will cost more but will also utilize features that help it to hang with other premium soft-sided coolers. This is a much larger and diverse selection of products than the Ozark Trail hard-sided coolers. Another thing you want in a premium cooler is the ability to hold ice for extended periods. Ozark have a freezer-grade gasket that’s pretty much like what you would see in your average high-end cooler. The smaller sized Ozark Trail coolers don't have any handles other than the shoulder strap. Ozark Trail on the other hand are Walmart's white label brand and the internet is littered with reviews of poor quality of their products. As is expected, the larger hard-sided coolers had a clear advantage over the soft-sided coolers. They are not only larger but utilize thicker insulation, rubber gaskets, and an overall more ice-friendly design. In addition to this, Ozark Trail also has some more mainstream designs for those who are simply on a tight budget and looking for a product to pack their lunch or picnic in. The Ozark Trail 45 quart cooler is known for its convenience and durability, with an industrial-strength locking plate to keep it sealed tight and wheels for easy transport.
